INDS 211 Interdisciplinary Seminars in Life Sciences: Symposia on Biomedicine, Bioengineering, Biochemistry, and Environmental Science

Interdisciplinarity in sciences and engineering is no longer the exception as traditional divisions between disciplines erode. Some of the most exciting research in science and engineering is currently happening in the whitespace between disciplines. This course intends to introduce to students to high impact interdisciplinary topics through a combination of primary literature, discussions, and lectures from some of today's high impact academics. 1/2 course credit.'
