An in-depth study of a literary theme, genre, author, or movement in the cultural context of Spanish America during the late nineteenth century through the present day. Topics include Short Story and the Fantastic, Fictions of History in Contemporary Novel, and From Popular Culture to Narrative Fiction. May be repeated for credit when topics vary. Class/laboratory.
